His shadow has huge jaggies. I see film grain in the dark areas. New style?

It looks good. It's clearly in a lesser league than the CG trailer of two years ago, though. Sony's bluster about improving on that trailer was utter tripe, as expected. No such thing as bad press, I suppose.

Yeah, the animation and lighting leave a lot to be desired in comparison. Still looks quite a bit better than Halo 3 though.

Killzone seems impressive now after I watched the video at gamespot. It looks like a lot of objects are casting their own shadows like tires and wooden pallets. Soft shadows at that. Lighting looks good with so many lights on during the city levels. Hope this will be a PS3 winner.

Yeah, it's nice to see that they actually turned the whole thing around. They've got the looks down- now for the gameplay.

I sold Resistance 2 to a guy at my work. I just can't get into PS3 first person shooters.

I have a DS3 but when I play the game, it just feels desolate. I think I miss the xbox live community.
