DoS is the GBA port of Final Fantasy 1 and 2. I'm super geeked. Their gonna have a big article about it in next months Nintendo Power.

I found this and I can only think that it's a little sketchy....shaaaady

I wonder if that one is in a different language even.

Did you ever play the remade ones for the Playstation 1?

I have origins, but I haven't played it yet. I pulled out the PS and played the Anthologies with Chrono Trigger. I was going to beat the game twice and unlock everything but I haven't got around to it yet...

This second time beating Lavos was so much easier than back in 95 when I first beat the game.

That is NOT an Ogre. An Ogre is a giant pink dude with a BIGASS fucking club. That's... I don't even know what that is.

Just picked it up. If any of you have played the Playstation remake, then this version seems to be set on 'easy' mode. The music is nice, and there have been some good revamps of the initial intro menu. They've added an 'optimal' option to equipping items and the battle system has been changed to allow your characters smart re-targeting. (If you all remember in the NES version if you killed a monster and the next character had it targeted you were out of luck on the attack.)

I played the beginning of ff2 and it seems interesting, the storyline looks compelling, but I'll wait until I beat 1 first. I've been waiting so long for a good FF for the gameboy. I never really got into the original gameboy's versions. Except Adventures. (which Sword of Mana pretty much is a remake of.)

I hate having to learn the fucking terms in the 2nd one. It's like you get chastised for not talking to everyone in the game because of it.

I spent 2 hours running around the world trying to figure out what to do next, and it ended up being that I had to talk to one guy first before I could go do what I knew I had to do.

My people (Bel, Biv, Devoe) have alot of HP though from all the running around and fighting.

Yeah and in the 2nd one if you roam out of the area you're supposed to be in, the creatures that pop up will kill you in like 1 or two hits. It doesnt matter what level you are either, the same monster will pop up and smoke your ass.

If it wasn't the addiction to the game, I'd stop playing. Speaking of, Joel, when you're done with the game I need to play :)

I thought FF2 didn't have levels. You gain stats and skill points in weapons or magic by your performance in battles.

yeah no character levels, I meant no matter how many hp you have or level of weapon attack.
